NURSE PRACTITIONERS

Routine exams and family planning services at Women’s Health are provided by specially trained advanced practice nurses (Nurse Practitioners and Certified Nurse Midwives). Our Nurse Practitioners average 18 years of nursing experience.

All services provided to patients at Women’s Health take into consideration the patient’s lifestyle, family situation, reproductive needs and desires, and personal preferences — truly a holistic approach. Each patient’s life situation is honored, with a goal of empowering women and men to make responsible reproductive healthcare choices. Our educational efforts focus on providing nonjudgmental information and encouraging personal responsibility and decision-making.

PHYSICIANS

While our Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are qualified to handle the majority of medical care for our patients, our Medical Director is a board-certified Gynecologist  available to provide specialized care outside the scope of practice of our NPs. Patients that present with gynecologic abnormalities can be treated on site and on a sliding fee scale based on their income, keeping them out of emergency rooms.

Another physician with expertise in abortion care provides services during our abortion clinic. She is committed, caring and compassionate to women receiving abortion care here at Women’s Health.
