-Gloria Steinem

Greetings Women’s Health Supporters!

Let’s face it– the past few years have been pretty rough: the recession (need we say more?), the grueling battle over health care reform when anti-abortion activists used the lightning rod issue of abortion to further its own political agenda, and now, a resurgence of the “Personhood” Amendment in Colorado (Amendment 62) a ballot initiative that, if passed, would ban abortion, outlaw many effective methods of birth control and wreak havoc on thousands of laws — many of which have nothing to do with reproductive health. Don’t know about you, but we’re exhausted!

We figure it’s time for a change.

This year- instead of wringing our hands over what’s not working, we’re celebrating our successes while laughing in the face of adversity. We want you to share in our fun! On November 6, 2010 Women’s Health will host Broad Comedy for an evening of chuckling, chortling and cackling with this snarky and political all-women’s comedy troupe. As a potential sponsor of our fundraising event we invite you to join us as we fill all 800+ seats at the Boulder Theater. We can’t think of a better opportunity for exposure for you and your business than sponsoring this event: friends will gather, laughter will ensue and people will leave wanting more – of us and of you!

If you’re in need of a good chuckle right now, check out Broad Comedy at www.broadcomedy.com . Then look over our sponsorship benefits as you consider supporting the Women’s Health Broads for Birth Control, Chicks for Choice fundraising event.

The night just won’t be the same without you! To discuss your 2010 Women’s Health event sponsorship contact Blair at blair@bvwhc.org or 303-440-9320 x.11.
