How To Schedule an Appointment

To schedule an appointment in Boulder, schedule online or call us at 303-442-5160 
during business hours Monday-Friday to speak with a staff member. We have a flexible
and responsive scheduling system that accommodates next-day appointments as well as
patients who prefer to schedule in advance. 

*UPDATE: Our Longmont facility is closed.  Please call the Boulder office for an appointment. 

Same-day and walk-in appointments are available for some services.
These include emergency contraception (the “morning-after pill”) and birth control refills.
Same-day and walk-ins can be accommodated during our normal business hours
on Monday-Thursday.  Urgent walk-ins only on Fridays. 

 

Walk-ins are for Established Patients ONLY (patients seen here within the past three years). 

For all patients under 20 years of age: Teen patients are welcome to make an appointment during any of our family planning hours. For more information on Teen Clinic services and pricing, see the Teen Clinic website.

Telehealth Appointments

Telehealth appointments are available for established patients (seen at BVWHC within the past three years) for the following medical needs:

  • Transgender hormone therapy follow-up     

  • Prescription refills, including birth control

  • Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) symptoms

  • STIs (sexually transmitted infections)

 

Telehealth appointments will be offered through Hippo Health. Patients must be Colorado residents. 

 

Equipment needed for Telehealth access/connection:

  • Computer with Chrome browser, or

  • Hippo Health App

How To Pay For Your Appointment

Whether you have health insurance, Medicaid, or are uninsured, BVWHC is here for you!

Health Insurance

BVWHC accepts most major insurance plans, including Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program). Click here for a list of plans.

Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program)

Women’s Health accepts Health First Colorado (Medicaid). Medicaid enrollment is open year-round. To learn more about your eligibility for Medicaid or to sign up, go to Colorado PEAK or call 1-800-221-3943.

Uninsured Patients

For uninsured patients, Women’s Health offers a sliding fee scale for most services that is based on your income and family size. Proof of income is recommended to help determine eligibility.  If you are uninsured and eligible for health insurance, we encourage you to contact Colorado PEAK to discuss Medicaid eligibility (see above) or Connect for Health Colorado (Colorado’s official health insurance marketplace) for assistance finding an affordable health insurance plan.

Payment is due on your appointment day.  Your payment must be made with cash or credit card. No personal checks, please.

How To Pay Your Bill

 

Sign up for the Patient Portal. Once you’re signed up, you can log in to pay your bill, refill prescriptions, view your lab results, or ask your medical provider a question.
